Job Overview: Riverview Psychiatric Center is currently looking for the right candidate to provide office and administrative support to the Nursing department. This is advanced administrative services work in providing support to the coordination, implementation, and oversight of administrative or procedural program having broad scope or diverse functions. Responsibilities require using independent judgment, initiative, and decision-making on complex administrative matters and require proficient knowledge of modern office practices and office equipment necessary to perform diverse administrative functions. Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day administrative activities of the Director of Nursing’s office, including preparing and editing correspondence, maintaining policies and procedures, coordinating office operations, and supporting board and committee meetings. You will serve as a liaison between the Director of Nursing and internal and external stakeholders, helping to ensure effective communication and follow-through on important initiatives and organizational priorities. This position also plays an important role in monitoring regulatory and licensing requirements, maintaining administrative records, and identifying opportunities to improve office processes and efficiencies. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with experience supporting executive leadership, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Qualifications

Training, education, or experience in office and administrative support work that demonstrates 1) competency in applying a general knowledge of the principles and practices of office processes and administrative functions to perform routine secretarial support tasks, and 2) the ability to use independent decision-making on the appropriate processes to follow, information to process and actions to take in accordance with standard procedures.
