The Registered Nurse provides individualized nursing care to acutely ill medical, surgical, and pediatric patients in the ICU. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing care plans while managing ventilators and critical medications.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a health care professional who is skilled in all aspects of the nursing process. The RN is responsible and accountable for the delivery of individualized nursing care to patients by incorporating current clinical knowledge with established nursing practice. They are adaptable to the myriad of needs of the individual and family during health and illness and has the ability to prioritize. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates daily patient care and is responsible for the direction of staff members assigned to them.

Candidates must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a valid Minnesota RN license. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and proficiency in reading ECG rhythm strips.
