Sentara is currently hiring a CAT Scan Technologist II in Halifax, Virginia This is a Full-Time,Evening shift opportunity with great benefits. A 20K bonus is available to qualified candidates. As a CAT Scan Technologist, you will provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; Provides patient and family education; Operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; Maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.
Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology ARRT or CNMT is required, BLS Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.
