You will provide the full scope of primary care services which fall under your field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance to adult patients. About the Organization: We believe in making health care accessible for all. Special Health Resources is the premiere Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) of East Texas. Over the past two decades, Special Health Resources has grown into a comprehensive health care system in North East Texas providing affordable care for the whole family. We have clinics in Longview, Tyler, Paris, and Texarkana. Additionally, we have Mobile Units to serve rural areas. SHR now provides health care to families in all 23 East Texas counties. SHR is an FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Clinic), offering patients a full-range of services, including both adult and pediatric primary care, adult and pediatric dental care, women’s health services, immunizations and vaccinations, HIV/AIDS screening and treatment, mental health care, and substance abuse services.
Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) Benefits: Incentive Bonus Program: Eligibility to participate in the organization incentive bonus program, subject to the terms and conditions specified in the incentive bonus plan document. Reimbursement for Continuing Education: We provide five (5) paid days for continuing education up to the designated allowance for qualified activities per calendar year. We also reimburse for the cost of required professional licenses and certifications. National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment: We are an approved NHSC site, which means our health care clinicians are eligible to apply and receive student loan repayment awards up to $100,000. Malpractice Coverage: We provide medical malpractice liability benefits through the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) program. Paid Time Off (PTO): We offer a combined allotment for vacation, sickness, or personal reasons that begins accruing on the first day of employment.
Ten (10) employer paid holidays per year. Employees are also given their birthday off as an employer paid holiday.
