Obtains and records patient history and clinical data, entering appropriate information into PACs and the breast imaging reporting system Performs Level 2 OB sonography Works collaboratively with the MFM team Selects appropriate transducer, power output and instrument gain for patient size, age, and procedure Knowledgeable in human gross and sectional anatomy and recognize the sonographic appearance of normal and abnormal tissue structures Interacts with interpreting physician and provides a written or oral summary of technical findings, as appropriate Demonstrates the ability to modify care according to the patient’s age and abilities Adheres to hospital policies and consistently demonstrates the hospital’s 7 behaviors Required Qualifications: Education and Training: ARDMS Registry certification required Previous sonography experience required (3-5 years preferred) Previous experience in Level 2 OB ultrasonography required (minimum of 1 year preferred) Advanced training with certification in OB Sonography (ARDMS) Fetal echocardiology certification required BLS CPR Work Shift Details: Days, - Department: SCMG MFM Benefits for You At Silver Cross Hospital, we care about your health and well-being and that is why we work hard to provide quality and affordable benefit options for you and your eligible family members. Candidates must have ARDMS Registry certification, Fetal Echocardiology certification, and BLS CPR certification. Previous experience in sonography and Level 2 OB ultrasonography is required, with 3-5 years preferred.
