Qualifications

  • and requirements: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for delivering basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, supporting patients' comfort and assisting with daily living activities and clinical procedures.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Every third weekend and 1 major winter and summer holiday is required.
  • Current Montana CNA certification with current listing on the Montana Board of Nursing Nurse Aide Registry.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 90 days after hire date
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
  • Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly. Non-Essential Functions.
  • Education: Completion of a nursing assistant training course.
  • Experience: Minimum six months of experience in an acute care or long-term care setting preferred.
  • License: Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
  • Certifications: CPR/BCLS certification required.

Requirements

Requires a High School Diploma, current Montana CNA certification, and a BLS certificate. Preference is given to candidates with at least six months of experience in acute or long-term care settings.
