Provides quality direct patient care including evaluating, treating, and managing patient health. Responsibilities include prescribing medications, performing diagnostic tests, and coordinating referrals to specialists.

Collect, record and maintain patient information including medical history, reports and examination results. Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease or injury. Advise, patients, family and community members concerning treatment and prevention. Examine patients or order, perform and/r interpret diagnostic tests to obtain information on medical conditions and determine diagnoses. Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Doctorate: Graduate of an accredited medical school
Successful completion of a medical residency program.
Successful completion of a medical internship program. TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
8 years recent relevant experience.
