  • Summary: The Credentialing Assistant assists the Credentialing Manager with accurate, efficient processing of all Rothman Institute physician and ancillary staff applications and maintenance of renewal requirements.

  • Accountabilities: Number of completed applications, appointments, licenses and insurance plans (monthly)

  • Duties: Assists with processing applications to obtain privileges at hospitals and surgery centers for Rothman Orthopaedics physicians and APP staff. Maintains individual files for Rothman Orthopaedics physicians, physician assistants and CRNPs required information for credentialing Communicates frequently with facility staff to meet expectations for staff appointment/reappointment Provides consistent and timely follow up with healthcare facilities on all applications and requests that were submitted Develops and updates physician participation grids for scheduling Updates all staff on new physician approvals as they become available Apply for all providers' malpractice applications Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization

  • Requirements: High School diploma or GED Computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Office One year experience with medical staff credentialing

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree CPCS certification Medical office operations and medical terminology Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm Location: will train on-site for 4 weeks After training, will work remotely 4 days per week and on-site 1 day per week (Tuesdays) Pay Range: suggested rate will be based on candidate's years of direct experience $19.00/hr - $23.00/hr Our Commitment to Employees: Come work at Rothman Orthopaedics! Requirements
