Maintain required billable service criteria. Conduct behavioral assessments, functional behavior assessments (FBAs), and music therapy assessments as required. Develop and implement individualized music therapy strategies based on person-centered goals and objectives. Develop, implement, and maintain Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) that meet regulatory standards and address each individual’s needs. Train, coach, and support direct support professionals, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members on behavioral supports, proactive strategies, music therapies techniques, replacement behaviors, and intervention implementation. Maintain systems for collecting required program-specific data and outcome measures. Collect, analyze, and maintain objective behavioral and therapeutic data to monitor progress toward individualized goals. Modify Behavior Support Plans, treatment plans, and therapeutic interventions annually and as needed based on assessment findings and data. Participate in Individual Support Plan (ISP), Person-Centered Planning (PCP), interdisciplinary team meetings, psychiatric appointments, discharge planning meetings, and other meetings as assigned. Seek input from and maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary team members, families, caregivers, supervisors, and other professionals. Complete all required clinical documentation, assessments, progress notes, billing documentation, and reports in accordance with agency, state, federal, Medicaid, and licensing requirements. Implement age-appropriate, engaging therapeutic activities that support treatment goals. Participate in departmental meetings, agency meetings, required trainings, continuing education, and ongoing professional development. Candidates must be a BCBA, BCaBA, or hold a Master's degree in a behavioral health field with two years of experience, or be a Board Certified Music Therapist with a Bachelor's degree. A valid driver's license and CPR/First Aid certification are also required.
