Provide designated occupational therapy services, including clinical assessments and ADL/IADL training for individuals at a neuro rehabilitation center. Maintain accurate treatment records and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement individualized treatment goals.
The Occupational Therapy Assistant is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include: Responsible for providing designated Occupational Therapy services to assigned individuals at Hope Network Neuro Rehabilitation. Services may include: preliminary screening of individual needs for OT intervention, ADL, IADL (including home management, budgeting/money management, use of public/alternative transportation, medication and health management, and establishment of daily/weekly routines) and clinical assessment and treatment. Also includes maintaining accurate data, treatment records accounting for treatment activities, and participation of departmental maintenance and program development. Responsible to adhere to established standards determined by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. in all areas of individual intervention and hold valid Michigan licensure.

1. Minimum 1 year of work experience with Neurological disorders, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, and/or Orthopedic injury. 2. Work Experience in use of an EMR for documentation.
