Our Hygienists are essential members of the clinical team, delivering high-quality, compassionate care and creating an exceptional experience for every patient. We’re currently offering flexible start times for those interested in picking up a few hygiene shifts per week, with a minimum commitment of 4 hours per shift.

  • Provide culturally sensitive oral health care, preventive education, professional training, and advocate for access for all
  • $3.00 per hour differential for working PM shift at the Maplewood clinic
  • Full-time hygienists are eligible for our loan repayment program with a two-year employment commitment
  • Two-year retention bonus, as well as a quarterly incentive bonus Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patients
  • Perform preliminary and existing charting of the oral cavity and surrounding structures
  • Perform initial and periodic examinations and assessments
  • Formulate a dental hygiene treatment plan in coordination with a dentist’s treatment plan
  • Complete debridement, prophylaxis, and nonsurgical periodontal therapy; place subgingival medicaments.
  • Provide nutritional counseling
  • Administer nitrous oxide inhalation analgesia and monitor patient
  • Apply topical medications including fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents Qualifications
  • Dental Hygienist license
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Experience working with culturally diverse communities preferred
  • Proficiency in a second language preferred Maplewood Clinic PM Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:20pm-9:30pm Friday 12:50pm-5:30pm *Let us know what days/hours within this schedule works for you. Part-time options are available.
