Job Description

The Patient Care and Observation Technician (PCOT) performs selected patient care tasks, under the direction of a licensed nurse, to assist in the delivery of patient care. Performs, when necessary, clerical duties and assists the Emergency Center/Inpatient staff in maintaining records and completing reports. Coordinates communications between Emergency Center/Inpatient staff, the patient, and interdisciplinary departments. Is accountable for all patient care in the Emergency Center/Inpatient Departments. Qualifications include high school diploma or equivalency,�current NC CNA listing and CPR required, prior behavioral health training.�One year experience in hospital setting, preferably critical care and behavioral health experience. � Careers At Scotland Health Care System, we’re proud to employ a team of dedicated professionals who embody the Scotland Way. Requirements

Requires a high school diploma, current NC CNA listing, and CPR certification. Candidates should have one year of hospital experience, preferably in critical care and behavioral health.
