Texas Rehabilitation of Plano is a brand-new 40 bed inpatient rehabilitation facility opening in 2026. We offer high-quality, compassionate care for a wide variety of patients in need. Our teams provide evidence-based, transformational care for a broad range of rehabilitation concerns in a compassionate, comfortable environment.
How you'll contribute
Performs all duties under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Fills orders with correct medications.
Delivers medications to patient care areas and automated dispensing machines accurately and timely.
Procures pharmaceutical and related supplies per contractual terms.
Maintains appropriate pharmacy inventory levels
Prepares pharmaceutical preparations including unit-dosing medication and properly labeling any dispensed medications
Processes records of medication and equipment dispensed to patient, computes charges, and enters data in computer.
Generates required reports (e.g., pick list, expiring medications).
Maintains temperature and environmental monitoring logs appropriately.
Prioritizes work (e.g., stats made first).
a. Restocks shelves and rotates stock.
b. Properly disposes of non-recyclable items.
c. Maintains refrigerator temperature and other quality assurance logs.
d. Receives and stores incoming supplies.
e. Counts stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
