One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Emergency Services Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans.

Responsibilities

Perform patient assessment/reassessment, including giving or receiving comprehensive change of shift and intermittent report, obtaining the nursing history, conducting a physical assessment, establishing priorities for care. Assess patient's learning needs, readiness for discharge and ability of the patient/family/SO to manage illness after discharge. Completes both computer and hand written documentation using correct format in an accurate, precise, timely, legible and complete manner . Provide direct patient care, as required. Assist physician with procedures, as necessary. Report changes in patient's condition to physician. Job Requirements Required Other Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications, upon hire and Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, upon hire and Preferred Bachelors Of Nursing BSN, upon hire and 1-2 years of Emergency Nursing Trauma Nurse Core Course, upon hire and Certified Emergency Nurse, upon hire

Requirements

Requires a valid California Registered Nurse license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. A BSN and 1-2 years of emergency nursing experience are preferred.
