Market context

Chaplain roles remain selective in Massachusetts

In Massachusetts, chaplain openings in healthcare settings are often driven by hospitals and care teams seeking spiritual support for patients, families, and staff. These roles are competitive because employers typically look for a bachelor’s degree, 2–3 years of healthcare or ministry experience, at least two units of Clinical Pastoral Education, and board certification when available. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this platform to save research time, then confirm your CPE and certification details before applying.
