As a Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) at Key Rehab, you will: Implement Care Plans: Execute the patient care plan developed by the Occupational Therapist (OT), ensuring adherence to established protocols. Advance Patient Progress: Facilitate patient advancement through their treatment plan, making adjustments as directed by the PT to optimize outcomes. Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate and enhance patient care, ensuring the achievement of individual goals.
Accredited Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program with an active COTA license in the state of practice. Minimum of 1 year in the field in a related role.
Adhere to Key Rehab’s Code of Ethical Conduct and all relevant state and federal regulations.
Strong Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to efficiently manage tasks and address challenges with effective solutions. Flexibility and Team Collaboration: Adaptable to changing situations and committed to working seamlessly within a team environment. Exceptional Communication: Outstanding oral and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with patients and colleagues. Experience with Geriatric Population: Prior experience working with elderly patients, demonstrating an understanding of their unique needs. Knowledge of Medicare Billing Regulations: Familiarity with current Medicare billing practices and guidelines.
