Compensation

$65,000 - $77,000 annually

Job

Summary: Under the general supervision of the Director of Operations, the Audiologist is responsible for overseeing patient care during appointments within a medical practice. This role provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients with hearing, balance, and communication disorders. The Audiologist delivers patient education, conducts evaluations, performs hearing tests, and supports overall clinical operations. Job

Duties & Responsibilities

Define patient hearing impairment and balance disorders through physician collaboration, diagnostic testing, and interpretation of audiometric data Administer electrophysiological and other relevant diagnostic tests using specialized equipment Prepare comprehensive diagnostic reports based on evaluation findings Provide treatment including ear canal cleaning, fitting hearing aids and assistive devices, and cochlear implant support Conduct auditory training, speech and lip-reading instruction, and aural rehabilitation programs Counsel patients and families on hearing conditions and treatment plans Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting evaluations, progress, and treatments Support quality improvement initiatives by evaluating processes, implementing changes, and participating in research activities Conduct hearing protection programs, noise assessments, and community education initiatives Manage medical supply inventory, including ordering and maintaining stock levels Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as professional standards Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices through continuing education Collaborate effectively with clinical staff and contribute to team-based patient care Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements: Doctorate of Audiology required Current Audiologist license in the State of Arizona required Minimum two years of audiology experience in a clinical setting preferred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet usage, and data entry Ability to pass state and federal background screening and work within a correctional setting if required Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Proficiency in medical and surgical terminology If you meet all of our criteria and would like to be considered please apply with your most updated Resume/CV. Requirements
