About the role

The therapist is responsible for providing group counseling and psycho-educational exercises within outpatient PHP/IOP programming. They must also provide crisis intervention and establish therapeutic relationships with patients.

  • Rolling Hills is looking for a dynamic PHP/IOP Therapist to join our Outpatient Team.
  • The PHP/IOP Therapist is responsible for providing group counseling services in outpatient programming.
  • The Therapist provides appropriate crisis intervention as necessary, provides psycho-educational group exercises, and demonstrates an ability to form therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

Education/Licensure/Certification

  • Master’s Degree in the Behavioral Health Field (e.g. Counseling, Social Work, Psychology) REQUIRED Current

  • Experience: Experience in providing individual and group counseling to individuals in a psychiatric treatment setting; excellent telephone etiquette and tact; ability to interact effectively with persons of widely diverse roles, backgrounds, cultures, and socio-economic classes, those in crisis or resistant or negative toward organization; effective oral and written communication skills; basic data entry skills preferred; organizational, time management, problem solving, crisis management skills necessary; flexibility, creativity, and ability to manage stress necessary. Requirements

A Master's Degree in a Behavioral Health field is required along with HWC and CPR certifications. Candidates must have experience in psychiatric treatment settings and a valid Tennessee Driver's License.
