The Monitor Technician performs continuous surveillance of multiple monitors to identify significant arrhythmias or signs of patient distress. They are responsible for reporting abnormal findings to nursing staff and ensuring equipment is in proper working order.

How you’ll contribute
Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately.
Identifies and corrects for artifacts.
Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Tests equipment for proper working order.
