Description

This contract position offers an on-site opportunity for a qualified medical professional to provide exemplary patient care in a vibrant community.

As a Locum MD, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating vascular conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care. Your expertise will be instrumental in conducting surgeries, managing postoperative patients, and supporting the overall mission of enhancing patient health outcomes.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments Perform vascular surgical procedures with precision and care Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Manage postoperative care and address any complications Collaborate with nursing staff and other medical professionals Stay updated with advancements in vascular surgery practices Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records Participate in case discussions and contribute to surgical rounds

Requirements

MD or DO degree with a valid medical license Completion of a residency in General Surgery, with a fellowship in Vascular Surgery preferred Experience in vascular surgical procedures Strong diagnostic skills and clinical judgment Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care Availability to work on-site and fulfill contract terms

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 7a-7a, specific dates

EMR: Expanse

Must be board-certified

DEA required
