Conduct thorough patient assessments and medical histories Develop and implement treatment plans for orthopedic conditions Perform orthopedic surgical procedures with precision and care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and specialists Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Educate patients on treatment options and recovery processes Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Ensure compliance with medical standards and regulations
MD (Medical Doctor) degree from an accredited institution Active medical license to practice in the state of Washington Residency training in orthopedic surgery Strong surgical skills and understanding of orthopedic protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
Level II trauma
Schedule: 24-hour call, 2 weeks per month
Setting: Hospital/ER and outpatient clinic
Patient Census: 0-7 per day
Full spectrum of orthopedic cases minus complex pelvic issues
Support Staff: PA, MA, and hospital staff
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
BLS and DEA required
