At Partner Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center (PVESC), IMED Veterinary Technician’s emphasis is on day-to-day patient care, sedation, and anesthetic procedure workflows while maintaining optimal patient outcomes.
At PVESC, the Veterinary Technician utilizes specialized skills to care for a chronically ill patient population while building relationships with our pet families and referring community.
You will practice sought after technical skills with all the necessary resources to enable optimal patient outcomes, while regularly collaborating with other hospital departments.

Minimum 1-year veterinary technician experience Internal Medicine or specialty experience is preferred, but not required Credentialed Technician “in good standing” in your current state and eligible to transfer registration to Maryland Knowledge and dedication to high standard anesthesia and patient care practices A curious and motivated energy Interest in collaborating with the teams across the Partner network Physical Requirements (ability to): Quickly process, analyze, and react to unplanned and emergent medical situations without delay, so as to ensure the safety of team members and patients Stand for up to 12 hours with limited breaks Lift up to 40 lbs without assistance Our core values: Reimagine Empower Community Care Our mission statement is our commitment to our team:
