The Behavioral Health Clinician conducts patient assessments, facilitates group and individual counseling sessions, and coordinates supportive community services. They are responsible for maintaining accurate clinical documentation and reporting patient progress to supervisors.
Minimum of two years working in the behavioral health field. Previous substance misuse treatment experience and expertise with trauma preferred. Demonstrated experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with the ASAM level of care criteria is preferred but not required. Solid communication skills. Proficient computer skills are required, including electronic records. CPR and First-Aid certification (the agency pays for initial training and renewals). Valid driver's license and insurability.

DEMANDS: Must be able to assist other employees in moving patients. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and drive for long periods. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
