Hemodialysis Medical Surgical Technician - 4pm to 12am - Columbia University Irving Medical Center Take initiative and balance the perfect blend of patient care and clinical practices. Bring the best in care and caring, all while providing quality phlebotomy, EKG, and vital signs monitoring. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment in our oncology treatment center. This position is located at New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. The hours are from 4pm to 12am, weekend rotations required. Ideal Criteria Preferred candidates have Medical Assistant certification. Nurses Aide experience or EKG/Phlebotomy experience preferred Required Criteria High School diploma or GED is required. Completion of Nurses' Aide/Medical-Surgical Technician Program Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) offered by Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) or The Board of Nephrology Examiners for Nursing Technology (BONENT) or National Nephrology Certification Organization (NNCO) One Year experience in Renal Treatment Center.
