The Operating Room Technician will provide crucial support to physicians during various surgical procedures, including bariatric, robotic, and ENT surgeries. They are responsible for functioning as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and maintaining surgical equipment and supplies.
Prior experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting Required Criteria Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the Association of Surgical Technlogist or Surgical Technician by the National Board of Surgical Technician and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) - Certification must be obtained within six months of hire. Must supply exam date prior to start of employment and complete a probationary period of six (6) months from date of hire Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician or comparable training program or experience as an O.R.
