Position Summary

The Group Therapist is responsible for facilitating engaging, clinically effective psychoeducational and process groups while contributing to each client's individualized treatment plan. This clinician also provides individual and family therapy services as clinically indicated, participates in treatment planning, and collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary team to support client recovery. This position is ideal for clinicians who are energetic, organized, compassionate, and passionate about helping individuals build healthier lives through evidence-based therapeutic interventions. What You'll Do Facilitate psychoeducational, skills-based, and process-oriented group therapy using evidence-based treatment modalities. Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments. Develop and update individualized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family therapy as clinically indicated. Monitor treatment progress and modify interventions based on client needs. Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation. Conduct crisis assessments, intervention, and de-escalation when necessary. Monitor client behaviors, treatment engagement, and safety concerns. Communicate significant clinical concerns and unusual incidents to the Clinical Director. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings. Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health staff, medical providers, and case management to coordinate care. Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA, CARF, state, and organizational standards. Support a positive therapeutic milieu that promotes recovery and client success. Preferred Clinical Experience Experience working with clients presenting with: Depression Anxiety disorders Trauma and PTSD Mood disorders Bipolar disorder Co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders Emotional dysregulation Relapse prevention Crisis stabilization

Minimum Qualifications

Education Master's degree in one of the following: Counseling Clinical Mental Health Counseling Social Work Psychology Marriage & Family Therapy Behavioral Health Closely related field Licensure Georgia licensed or license eligible as one of the following: LPC APC LCSW LMSW LMFT Associate-level clinicians actively working toward independent licensure are encouraged to apply. Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a mental health-related field and possess or be eligible for a Georgia license (LPC, APC, LCSW, LMSW, or LMFT). At least two years of behavioral health or substance use treatment experience is preferred.
