The Surgical Technician assists surgeons and nursing staff by preparing the operating room and passing sterile instruments during procedures. They are also responsible for maintaining aseptic conditions, managing surgical inventory, and cleaning the operating room post-procedure.

The Surgical Scrub Technician assists the surgeon and nursing staff in rendering professional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures within the surgical center in accordance with established guidelines.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, completion of a Surgical Technician training program, and at least one year of related operating room experience. Current Surgical Technology certification and Cardiac Life Support certification are also required.
