The Physician Assistant will provide a full scope of specialty services to patients within the Northwest Physicians Group network. They are responsible for exercising independent medical judgment while adhering to group policies and maintaining respectful patient care.

Position: Physician Assistant
As a full-time employee, Provider will provide a full scope of Specialty services to Group's patients at the Facilities. Provider shall perform all duties and services under Group's general constraints that require Provider to infringe the ethics of the medical profession, violate any law, or practice outside Provider's Specialty and experience. Provider retains the right to exercise Provider's independent medical judgement in providing care and treatment to patients. Provider shall be courteous and respectful of the rights and dignity of patients with whom he/she comes into contact and shall work cooperatively with Group's administrative staff. Provider shall abide by all Group policies and procedures, as adopted and updated from time to time. Provider shall provide services to all patients regarless of their race, sexual preference, religion, gender, or ability or inability to pay and any other class protected by law. Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities. It also provides select services for the Behavioral Health division of UHS. Through continuing growth, IPM operates in 11 markets across six states and the District of Columbia. Candidates must be a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with a current license to practice in the state of Texas. A valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association is also required upon hire.
