The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for overseeing client safety, mental well-being, and facility maintenance within a 24/7 diversion program. They provide trauma-informed care, assist with daily living skills, and intervene during behavioral health crises.
Work closely with the treatment team to coordinate client care services and ensure comprehensive support.
Observation and
Documentation: Complete and chart client observations, conduct checks of personal belongings, rooms, and grounds, and ensure compliance with agency policies.
Emergency
Response: Monitor client conditions, respond to medical emergencies or elopement, and intervene in behavioral health crises as needed.
Medication
Management: Distribute medications according to agency policies, document administration, and report any medication errors immediately.
Facility
Maintenance: Assist in cleaning the facility and grounds as needed to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Must have the following: Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, ability to obtain a Class E license, and proof of continuous auto insurance.
