The intern will participate in clinical fieldwork within an Assertive Community Treatment program, engaging in individual and group supervision. Responsibilities include self-directed learning, maintaining process recordings, and providing compassionate care to individuals with mental health challenges.
Starting date would be as soon as possible. Clinical interns would be expected to intern 16 hours (BSW) per week. Internships are typically served for the academic year. Spring and summer internships will be considered. Internships should be completed during day time hours (8:30am - 4:30pm) during the work week.
Be a current BSW student at an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Have an interest in community-base mental health care for individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
Individual and group supervision model from clinical director weekly. Other modalities includes self-reflection, self-evaluation, and process recordings.
