About the role

The Cardiology RN will provide specialized nursing care to patients within the cardiovascular department. The role involves maintaining high standards of patient care while working within a shared governance structure.

Work Schedule

  • 100% FTE, full-time, day shift
  • Monday-Friday / 7:45AM-4:15PM
  • You will work at 1340 Charles St.

Additional components of compensation may include

  • Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
  • Overtime
  • On-call pay

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an approved School of Nursing Program. Required
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required
  • Work Experience
  • 2 years of cardiovascular nursing or related experience. Preferred
  • Licenses & Certifications
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois. Required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification required within 90 days of hire. Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification. Preferred

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an approved School of Nursing and hold a valid Illinois Registered Nurse license. A minimum of 2 years of cardiovascular nursing experience is preferred, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.
