Details About the Job
The Hazelwood Center is a Intermediate Care Facility that supports the long term care needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities. The Direct Support Professional position is vital to safety, happiness, and wellbeing of our clients. The support level required will be based on each client’s individual needs. In this role you will provide assistance with basic daily care needs such as bathing, toileting, feeding, dressing, active treatment, and socializing would be delivered by you as a part of your regular job duties.
This is a full-time position.
Typical work week is 37.5 hours with some opportunity for overtime.
Weekend work is required.
Employee will work a rotating schedule as needed to provide direct support and supervision of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
As this is a residential setting, employees are assigned shifts.
Employee must be able to flex hours and must be able to work mandatory overtime as needed.
Employees must be able to work at least 7.5 hours per day with no restrictions to meet the needs of the facility.
