Job Summary: Perform routine laboratory testing and specimen analysis to support clinical trials research.
This role is responsible for generating accurate analytical data, maintaining compliance with laboratory procedures and regulatory requirements, and supporting quality and safety initiatives within the laboratory environment.
What You'll Be Doing: Perform routine analysis of specimens and document results in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements Evaluate analytical results using laboratory system algorithms and identify unusual findings Escalate potential performance issues, analytical errors, or atypical results to senior laboratory staff Prepare buffers, solutions, and laboratory materials required for testing activities Store samples and reagents appropriately following analysis activities Support laboratory housekeeping, safety, quality, and 6S initiatives Communicate clearly and accurately with cross-functional stakeholders regarding laboratory activities What We Are Looking For: High School Diploma or equivalent required; some CAP/CLIA laboratory locations may require a Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology 6 months relevant lab experience required OR equivalent combination of education, training and experience required Basic knowledge of laboratory principles and analytical testing practices Basic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and applicable regulatory agency standards Knowledge of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and terminology used in the area of responsibility Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree The
Needed for This Role: Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and communicate results accurately Knowledge of laboratory safety, infection control procedures, standard precautions, and hazardous chemical handling Basic computer skills and ability to work with laboratory information systems Commitment to quality, compliance, continuous learning, and operational excellence Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
