Job Description

Harborview Medical Center is seeking experienced ED Registered Nurses to join our nationally recognized Emergency Department. As the region's only Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, Harborview provides care to patients with a wide range of medical, surgical, psychiatric, and traumatic conditions. Our ED nurses practice at the top of their license while working alongside an exceptional multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care. This recruitment will be used to fill future Emergency Department RN vacancies. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Provide rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization of patients with emergent and life-threatening conditions. Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, social workers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Care for a diverse patient population with complex medical, surgical, psychiatric, and trauma-related needs. Utilize critical thinking and evidence-based practice to make timely clinical decisions. Perform advanced nursing interventions while practicing to the full scope of your RN license. Contribute to a culture of teamwork, continuous learning, and excellence in patient care. SCHEDULE 0.9 FTE (90%) – Night Shift 72 hours every two weeks Self-scheduling

Requirements

Current Washington State Registered Nurse license (or eligibility to obtain licensure through multistate licensure or endorsement before employment) Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Two or more years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Equivalent education and experience may substitute for minimum qualifications where permitted, except when licensure, certification, or registration requirements apply. Position Details

Pay Range Minimum: $46.97 hourly Pay Range Maximum: $87.02 hourly Other Compensation: BSN or Higher premium $1.00/hr. Certification premium $1.25/hr Night shift differential $5.00/hr Weekend shift differential $4.00/hr; Sunday Night premium $3.00/hr Over time pay Relocation available
