More about our team Radiology/Imaging Services unit provides high-quality diagnostic and interventional imaging services, including wide range of medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other imaging techniques to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. Valuing and ensuring patient care, patient comfort, safety, and adherence to imaging protocols are paramount while collaborating with healthcare professionals, quality control, and the adoption of new technologies while maintaining quality control measures for equipment and processes, adhering to strict safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards are key functions.

How you’ll contribute A Radiology Technologist, PRN who excels in this role

Reviews patient history and physician's orders.

Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.

Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.

Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.

Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s).

Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.

Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedures.

Enters, transmits and reports scan results.

What we’re looking for Applicants should be a graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology. Additional requirements include:

Radiology – ARRT (R).

BLS certification.

Requirements

Applicants must be a graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology and hold ARRT (R) certification. A current BLS certification is also required for this role.
