One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Lab Assistant, you will play a crucial role in solving diagnostic mysteries, bringing us one step closer to effectively treating patient illnesses and injuries.Every day you will utilize your expertise and our advanced technology to precisely collect, prepare, and process a diverse range of patient specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) for various diagnostic tests.

Job Requirements Required Phlebotomist - CPT certification, CA Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory terminology, aseptic technique, laboratory tests and specimen handling and blood collection techniques as demonstrated by CAP required competency assessment and organizational requirements.
Experience as a Lab Assistant/phlebotomist in an acute care hospital, one (1) year preferred.
Candidates must hold a CPT certification and possess a foundational understanding of laboratory procedures and terminology. One year of experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
