Weekly pay: $2,038-$2,119 per week.

Guaranteed hours: 48 per week.

  • 3x12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
  • Work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital in a travel, temporary assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver coordinated ER nursing care for an assigned patient group using the nursing process and established standards.
  • Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
  • Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, and develop and implement a plan to achieve outcomes; reevaluate progress.
  • Educate patients and families, provide health information, and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
  • Delegate appropriately, coordinate duties of the health care team, and maintain a safe, healing environment.
  • Collaborate with the patient, family, and treatment team to optimize outcomes and safety; perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of practice (California)
  • BSN: Preferred
  • Minimum two years of recent experience in the field (ER/acute care preferred)
  • CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS (AHA/ARC) required
  • Facility-specific BLS certification required
  • EPIC and Cerner EMR experience preferred; EPIC experience required for EPIC backfill assignments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care setting; 12-hour day shift
