The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and diagnose patients with communication or swallowing difficulties and develop effective treatment programs. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate clinical documentation and collaborating with staff and families to achieve patient goals.

Job Description

PT Northwest has an immediate opening for a motivated individual with an energetic personality to join our team as a part-time Speech Pathologist in our Woodburn location (Legacy Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation). Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties Develop and implement effective treatment programs Provide counseling to patients and patient's families about the results of testing and recommended treatment options Establish patient understanding, expectations, and goals for treatment Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all patient visits Collaborate and delegate duties to support personnel as appropriate Maintain communication with staff and outside agencies per state guidelines

Qualifications

Licensed SLP Strong, disciplined work ethic Dedication to quality patient care through the entire therapeutic process Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities Excellent verbal and written communication skills A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics Demonstrated experience with evidence-based treatment modalities CPR and first aid certification are preferred

Requirements

Candidates must be a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities is required, while CPR and first aid certifications are preferred.
