Overview Physical Therapist - Outpatient travel assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Start date 08/18/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,350–$2,430 per week with guaranteed hours of 38.

Shift

5 eight-hour days. This position includes inpatient duties in Glenwood Springs and outpatient clinic duties in Carbondale, within a hospital setting serving the western Colorado region.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop/implement treatment plans for a variety of diagnoses
  • Improve strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and functional outcomes
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management strategies
  • Document patient progress and maintain appropriate charting and communication with the care team
  • Collaborate with rehab colleagues and other disciplines to coordinate care across inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Monitor patient safety, progress, and modify plans of care as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
  • Active Colorado PT license (DORA) or Compact for Colorado
  • Minimum 2 years of PT experience; 3–5 years preferred
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Travel requirements: perm address at least 75 miles away from the facility
  • Colorado CAPS requirement may apply; processing may take up to two weeks
