The Occupational Therapist will assess patient performance and develop treatment plans to improve daily living activities and overall quality of life. They are responsible for educating patients and caregivers, recommending adaptive equipment, and documenting progress toward treatment goals.

Job Summary Address patient's performance to support engagement in occupations that affect health, well-being, and life quality Select appropriate occupational therapy treatment model, method, and approach to direct the process of interventions Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) Teach patient's new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components Assess patient's home and other environments and advise on alterations consistent with their needs and capabilities Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use Guide and educate family members and caregivers Observe, note, and report on progress of long and short-term treatment goals Perform other duties as assigned Desired Skills & Qualifications Graduate from a two-year college level program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association Current Licensed, registered of Certified in the state of practice Minimum of 2 years related experience preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with different types of personalities Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgement Effective verbal & written communication & time management skills Valid Driver's License (clean record) & reliable transportation.
