Develops and administers occupational therapy programs and treatments for inpatients and outpatients of age groups defined by clinical competency which may include neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. The duties of this position require patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university. Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS). KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED Two (2) years of experience as a Licensed Occupational Therapist. Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM): 8:30am-5PM Weekend Requirements: Yes
