The Respiratory Therapist provides quality-oriented patient care and performs support activities such as equipment maintenance and setup. They are responsible for operating respiratory care equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory illnesses.
Vibra Hospital of Northern California, located in Redding, CA, is a 50 bed Critical Care Hospital and a 32 bed SNF providing long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $40.00/hr to $52.81/hr NOC Weekdays: $5.00/hr NOC Weekend: $6.50/hr DAY Weekend: $3.00/hr
Candidates must be graduates of a Respiratory Therapy program and hold an active license as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist. A current BLS certification is required, while one year of critical care experience and ACLS certification are preferred.
