Mammography Tech

Overview

Responsibilities

Performs all procedures relevant to breast imaging. A comprehensive approach to breast health is utilized in accordance with departmental policy at the three sites of service. These include the Breast Care Center, off-site screening mammography service, and the mobile mammography van. Participates in required technical and program continuous quality improvement activities and demonstrates exceptional patient service skills.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology program Currently ARRT – R and Texas Department of Health Registered BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
