Schedule

  • Full-time 7:00
  • PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends

Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) seeking a meaningful role where your skills directly contribute to patient recovery? What You’ll Do

As an addiction recovery RN at RCA, you will

Provide individualized care by conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing tailored care plans.

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and case managers, to coordinate holistic patient care.

Educate patients and families on addiction recovery processes and effective self-care strategies.

Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate, confidential documentation.

Foster a safe and supportive environment that respects the dignity and diversity of all individuals.

What We’re Looking For

An active RN license in New Jersey

A minimum of 2 years' experience in behavioral health, addiction recovery, or related fields (preferred).

Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it during orientation.

Strong clinical judgment and the capacity to manage medical and behavioral health emergencies effectively.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to compassionate patient care.

**A former patient may not be hired at the same location where they were treated until a minimum of one year has elapsed since the completion of their treatment at that location. Former patients may be considered for employment at locations within RCA other than where they were treated within a year after treatment.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an active Registered Nurse license in New Jersey and possess strong clinical judgment for managing medical and behavioral emergencies. A minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health or addiction recovery is preferred, along with current BLS certification.
