In addition to performing all duties of a Dental Assistant, the EFDA is trained and authorized to complete expanded clinical functions. This position contributes directly to clinical efficiency, patient experience, and practice growth by supporting providers before, during, and after dental procedures while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and care delivery.
Candidates must hold an active Florida Radiology License and EFDA certification consistent with state regulations. Previous chairside experience in a general dental practice and proficiency with dental practice management software are required.
