About the role

The Behavioral Health Technician assists patients with daily living activities and provides support during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. They are responsible for observing patient behavior, documenting changes in condition, and reporting findings to the nursing staff.

  • How you'll contribute
  • Assist patients with performing activities of daily living
  • Provide or assist with providing patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions
  • Observe and record patient behavior and activities
  • Report on changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff
  • Suggest modifications to treatment plan as needed

Qualifications

and requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of behavioral health experience preferred
  • BLS Certification within 45 days of hire
  • HWC (Handle With Care) within 45 days of hire
  • CNA license preferred
  • Must be minimum of 21 years of age to be considered for this position
