About the unit 4 North is a 33-bed unit at Butterworth Hospital specializing in orthopedic, trauma and burn care.
Our team works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary group of professionals including nursing, physicians, APPs, rehab therapists, and care managers to provide high quality, comprehensive care to our patients.
Common diagnoses for our patient population include polytrauma, gunshot wounds, falls, motor vehicle accidents, burns, and orthopedic complications as a result of a traumatic injury.

Associates in Nursing Required Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required within 60 days AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
Candidates must hold an Associate degree in Nursing and obtain a Bachelor's degree within five years. A Michigan Registered Nurse license and BLS certification are required.
