  • Schedule: Full-time | Night Shift How you'll make an impact in this role Collect and process blood specimens for testing, register patients and serve as a resource to phlebotomy team. Register patient information and order laboratory tests. Evaluate test requests for method, time, patient preparation and proper collection procedures. Draw and collect blood samples according to policy. Verify all related records. Label, process and deliver specimens for testing according to protocol. Maintain, clean, and sterilize equipment, instruments, and work area following safety, cleanliness, and infection control procedures. What minimum qualifications you'll need

  • Registration: BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Certification specializing in Phlebotomy credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) preferred. Phlebotomy Tech preferred.

Education

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
