Salary Range

$34.72 - $48.41 per hour How you'll make an impact in this role Patient Evaluation and Care: Provide comprehensive evaluation and care for patients experiencing respiratory insufficiencies. Implementation and Monitoring: Implement and continuously monitor the patient care plan and associated respiratory equipment. Documentation and Communication: Monitor, accurately record, and effectively communicate changes in the patient's condition to the care team. Quality and Outcomes: Evaluate respiratory practice, medication administration, and treatment effectiveness based on patient outcomes. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred. Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Respiratory Therapist specializing in Critical Care credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred. Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred. Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred. Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) from National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.

Education

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
