Provide direct patient care relative to physical diagnosis and therapeutic management for patients in the Emergency Department working under the supervision of a licensed physician. 45,000+ annual ED visits Patient management and physician support in main ED Manage Fast Track and BHU patients Fully democratic, physician-led practice Malpractice insurance Exciting and collaborative environment with standardized clinical practices, quality systems, and fully integrated EHR to ensure excellence in patient care BID-Plymouth is a 170-bed acute care community hospital located an hour south of Boston, MA and 45 minutes east of Providence, RI. LSP compassionately serves patients in the community setting to create a healthy future for them and their families. 175 emergency medicine physicians and advanced health practitioners Deliver care to over 350,000 patients annually and growing Clinical affiliations with a variety of health systems in the greater Eastern Massachusetts region Job Requirements Master's degree in Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Massachusetts state licensure MA Board authorization to practice licensure American Heart Association - Basic Life Support Certificate and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred but not required Valid prescriptive authority from both the MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA Experience working in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care Center Competency in provision of care to patients of all ages Pay Range: $90,000 - $150,000 The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with active Massachusetts licensure and prescriptive authority. Candidates must have experience working in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care setting and hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
